Assessment and evaluation methods

Planning a teaching session and writing a lesson plan

Keeping records

Planning the 20 minute micro-teaching session

Preparing resources



Micro-teaching presentations, delivery and feedback


Continue micro-teaches


Explanation of the assignments to be completed during the study break

Study Break

Complete assignments (except practical assignment tasks 1, 6 and 7)

Send to tutor for marking.



Planning a scheme of work

Individual activity to write a scheme of work (practical assignment task 1)

Individual feedback on coursework assignments completed during the study break

Theories of learning


Managing behaviour and group interaction

Re-visit cultural and inclusion themes

Continuing Professional Development



Review course content

Complete summative profile and action plan. Complete journals.(Assignment 2 tasks 6 & 7)

Assemble portfolios

Course evaluation
